Nathaniel Smith Selected for Hilliard-Sizemore Research Course on African Americans in Higher Education

First-year EDD-Higher Ed student Nathaniel Smith has been selected to participate nationally in the prestigious Asa G. Hilliard III and Barbara A. Sizemore Research Course on African Americans and Education co-sponsored by the Organizational Disparities Laboratory and the Urban Education Collaborative. The Hilliard-Sizemore Research Institute coincides with the Annual AERA Conference and pairs early career scholars and advanced graduate students directly with established researchers to explore questions and methods related to the experiences of African Americans in education. Participants will be exposed to the fundamentals of developing a research agenda and career focused on conducting research on African Americans in education.
