SEHD Faculty Julia Kantor, Liliana Flores Amaro and Dane Stickney have received funding from the Timmerhaus Fund (part of the CU Denver’s Teaching Scholars Program) to design and put on a Teachers as Policy Actors policy forum on April 6, featuring CU Denver students and alumni as well as policy experts from Colorado. Please join us to discuss the needs, experiences, and points of view of teachers along with state and community stakeholders. Collectively, we’ll consider radical shifts to our current educational system and policies that influence the classroom. Students and alumni will present their own policy analysis at roundtables. We will also have a keynote and panel discussion. We would so appreciate your voice and expertise in those discussions.
