Please see below for a message about mental health resources and the new well-being resource for faculty and staff: you.ucdenver.edu.

Dear Colleagues:

Working in higher education and clinical settings can be stressful in the best of times. Managing stress and anxiety during a pandemic, an economic downturn, and a prolonged period of social and political unrest presents daily challenges for students, faculty and staff alike.

We have mental health resources available to support you.

You can find them on our human resources website under the “Crisis/Mental Health Resources” tab. You will find additional mental health resources under the “COVID-19 Resources” section on our home page under “Mental Health and Wellness.”

HUMAN RESOURCES WEBSITE

We also want to let you know about a new resource to help you manage stress. This tool has been available to our student community for some time, and we are very happy to announce a version of You@CU Denver and You@CU Anschutz to support the unique health and well-being needs of faculty and staff. The You@CU website:

  • Ensures confidentiality for you to explore sensitive health and well-being topics.
  • Offers even more resources and information concerning work-life balance, stress management, mental health, community, and relationships.
  • Provides resources and information to support you in working with students.

When you log into You@CU as a faculty or staff member, you will be able to customize your experience and content by creating your own unique profile. Should you wish to explore resources on behalf of a student, you may access the “For Students” navigation header, which will guide you to student-related topics and resources.

We will continually expand information available on this platform, so log in and create your account to start exploring.
