Vulnerability is the birthplace of creativity, community, joy, and critical thinking, and yet it is perceived as a weakness. Vulnerability is actually our greatest measure of courage yet is commonly avoided at all costs. This session will explore what vulnerability looks like in academia and will invite a discussion to unpack vulnerability as a pedagogical strength and pathway to meaningful human experiences in our classrooms. This session aims to reconsider the meaning of vulnerability from a weakness to courage that can become our most powerful teaching tool.
