Changes to Lecturer Hire Request Form on Impact

As we are preparing for the Spring 2020 semester, we wanted to bring to your attention a change to the Lecturer Hire form on Impact. To assure compliance with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) standards, we added new fields to the form, will verify the lecturer meets minimum qualifications set forth in the SEHD Policy on Faculty Qualifications. These new fields are located under the Lecturer Hire section of the form.

When you select the highest level course (Undergraduate, Graduate, Doctoral) a list of degree requirements will populate:

Once you select the highest-level course for the lecturer hire, please complete the next fields for the degree level/field and the relevant experience of your candidate. You should only fill out the relevant experience field if the degree is in an unrelated field to the course.
