Volunteers needed – 17th annual Future Teacher Expo on Friday, October 11th

The School of Education and Human Development will be hosting the 17th annual Future Teacher Expo on Friday, October 11th. This event invites ~350 high school students to campus to explore the world of education. The event consists of a keynote speaker, 3 breakout session lectures and a college fair where students can learn about the post-secondary education options offered in the state of Colorado.

We are looking for faculty, instructors and doctoral students to lead lectures about teacher education and HDFR for the breakout sessions. There will be 3 breakout sessions during the day (10-10:35, 10:40-11:15, 11:20-11:55) where we are looking to schedule 3 teacher education lectures and 3 HDFR lectures during each timeslot. Please register via the doodle poll for sessions you would like to teach during the day. If you can teach more than one session, that would be great!

We currently have rooms scheduled in the North Classroom for the day and will assign them to timeslots ASAP. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Chris Ricciardi directly.

Thank you so much for your willingness to participate in this event!
