Congratulations to Robert Allan and Jung-in Kim for receiving a ORS Small Grant!

Robert Allan-$3000 to examine, via systematic review, research regarding evidence-based multicultural supervision/training approaches. He aims to translate this research directly into a comprehensive understanding of multicultural clinical supervision.

Jung-in Kim-$1416 to investigate what constitutes the linguistic and cultural minority immigrant children’s motivation to learn their heritage language (e.g., Korean) in and out of school and how their motivation can be supported. Jung-in hopes to contribute to advancing our theoretical and methodological knowledge about the social and cultural nature of motivation, as well as our understanding of factors that constitute heritage language learners’ motivation.
