SEHD SAC Meeting

SAC Website and IMPACT
- It was suggested a “New to Denver” section be added to the Employee Onboarding Page on Impact.
- Since the Employee Onboarding page contains helpful information even for current staff, it was requested a link to it be placed on the Navigation Menu of the SAC website.
Suggestions for SAC Structure
- As not everyone was present, these suggestions will need to be brought up during the next meeting and discussed in depth; however, it was suggested that:
- Melissa and Michelle serve as the vice-chairs
- Jessica to serve as the secretary
- Lindsay as the treasurer
- Melissa offered to join the Welcoming Committee. Members now consist of Jessica Coon, Melissa Burrows and JaNet Hurt (staff participant).
General Brainstorming Ideas
- Bring back the “You Made My Day” cards and have them brought to our quarterly staff meeting. It was suggested to acknowledge all recipients of cards and their service.
- The staff would like a photo directory. Perhaps we should propose this at the next all staff meeting. In the past, there were concerns about privacy, if this is an issue, a staff member could opt out of the directory.
- New faculty members are being introduced on IMPACT with a new hire intro video—should we start one for staff as well?
- Name Change Proposal–Employee Recognition Council should change names to Employee Recognition Committee.
- ACTION ITEM: Send reminder to submit PD Fund Requests
For Next Time…
- Create Quarterly Staff Meeting Agenda for Tuesday, February 24 from 11:30-1p.m.—Potluck?
- Review financial budgets, provide any follow-up to Tim
- Finalize SAC member roles
- Take a group photo!
