Pending                     HDFR 1030                                                                Farah Ibrahim

  • Course will fit into big picture of HDFR as an elective for majors and minors. Part of the 30 credit a la carte menu.
  • Course will delve into identity and not skirt around the issue.
  • Content may be too difficult for freshman level. This will help students throughout their major. The goal of HDFR is to be one of the top writing majors.
  • Committee suggested revising the course title. Current title is not catchy for today’s adolescents.
  • Suggested to revise the course work (i.e. shorten papers or offer three exams).

  1. GRADUATE FACULTY APPROVALS:

All appointments approved

  1. OTHER ITEMS/UPDATES

Committee has concerns using FCQ scores for GFA approvals. Concerns include timing FCQ scores are due and the lack of response rate from students.

Can we offer more support to faculty that have low FCQ scores?
