Open enrollment for the University of Colorado for the 2024-25 plan year will open on April 22nd and run through May 10th. You will be able to select your benefits for the upcoming plan year, which begins July 1st. This is a great time to reflect on your current medical, dental, vision and additional benefits to determine if adjustments are necessary.
Here are three important tasks to ensure readiness for enrollment.
1. Check your contact information.
2. Check your current enrollments and dependents.
3. Check out the text message reminder tool (and sign up).
Resources such as courses and plan comparisons will be provided to help you evaluate your plan options. An open enrollment fair will take place at the CU Denver Wellness Center Gymnasium on Tuesday, April 23rd from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. You will have the opportunity to speak with plan providers such as Anthem, Kaiser, Delta Dental and others. You will also be able to meet the new FAMLI Leave team at the open enrollment fair.
Like your current plans?
If you prefer to keep your current benefits, no action will be required as you will be automatically re-enrolled.
One exception
If you have a Health Care Flexible Spending Account or a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, you must re-enroll for plan year 2024-25.
