2024 Excellence in Leadership Nominations

CU Leadership will once again sponsor the highly regarded system-wide Excellence in Leadership Program (ELP) in the 2024-25 academic year. This yearlong program is designed to identify top talent at the University, support them in honing their leadership skills, enhance their knowledge about CU, and create a cohort of leaders. The Fellowship begins in August 2024 with in-person sessions. Attached is a brief description of the program.

We are seeking nominations of faculty and/or senior staff (e.g., Assistant Vice Chancellors, Directors) from across campus who have demonstrated high potential for growth and are currently serving in a senior leadership role. For your nominee, please complete the Nomination Form that asks for a brief paragraph or two describing why you believe this person will benefit from the program. Please note that the program involves a significant time commitment from the ELP Fellow – typically a two-day kick off in August, followed by at least one monthly meeting from September through April. Some of these sessions may be offered virtually.

Please submit your nomination no later than 5pm on Friday, April 19th. After review of nominations, we will contact you about the selection no later than May 3rd.
