Summary:
Our April DEI meeting started with an individual check-in: some of us rested and recharged, while others continued to work or traveled to conferences and family events. As Tom steps down as Chair at the end of this semester, we elected our chairs for 2026-2027. We will announce the new chair in next month’s summary. We discussed the recent Supreme Court decision on conversation therapy and its impact on our mental health professional colleagues and future SEHD students. We also discussed the merit review process and shared thoughts on its inclusivity and equity. Here are some current and upcoming DEI-related events that we want to share with you:
