The University of Arkansas’s news unit recognized 2024 outstanding alumni in several categories. CU Denver Assistant Vice Chancellor for Graduate Education Michael Kocet was honored as this year’s outstanding alumnus from the Department of Counseling, Leadership, and Research Methods at Arkansas, where he earned his Ph.D. In addition to his administrative role here at CU Denver, Kocet has been professor and department chair at multiple institutions and is a licensed mental health counselor.
