Upcoming LGBTQ+ Affinity Group (Staff and Faculty) Info Sessions

CU Denver’s affinity groups support the institution’s goals of being equity serving, and a people-centered best place to work through voluntary association based on identity, background, interest, allyship and/or goals.  Affinity groups contribute to this work by providing community engagement and educational opportunities relevant to their communities, and by supporting professional development of their members.  Membership in affinity groups is open to all CU Denver employees.

We will be hosting two information sessions for faculty and staff interested in getting involved:

Virtual Session

Date: Tuesday, February 27
Time: Noon to 1:00 PM
Format: Zoom https://ucdenver.zoom.us/j/99406100337

 In-person Session

Date: Wednesday, February 28
Time: Noon to 1:00 PM Location: CU Denver Building, Room 340

Note: Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. Drinks will be provided. No RSVP required.

During these sessions, we aim to facilitate connections, gather ideas, and understand the expectations and aspirations of potential members.  Additionally, we welcome input on planning a kickoff event for the LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff Affinity Group scheduled for this spring semester.
