Faculty and Staff invited to participate in a new Retention Interview Program

Dear colleagues, you may like to consider this volunteer opportunity being launched for the CU Denver campus. Note that the training event dates are coming up quickly (Jan 23rd – Feb 14th).

As part of the 2030 Strategic Plan goal of being a People-Centered Best Place to Work, CU Denver is instituting a Retention Interview Program, which was announced in CU Denver News in December 2023. The program will create a feedback mechanism for current and existing employees in order to gauge sentiment on supervisory processes, campus and unit culture, and employee engagement. Feedback will be captured thematically and will influence future work related to improving campus culture and the employee experience.

We are seeking staff and faculty who are interested in serving as exit/transfer interviewers.

If you are interested, please complete this short form. We will be providing training, on-going support and tools to serve in this important capacity. We anticipate that volunteers will conduct several interviews each semester, depending on how many people we are able to train as a part of the program. After interested employees complete the form, we will reach out to set up a brief, 5-10 minute conversation and schedule training.
