Dear colleagues, although short notice, we wanted to highlight for you that CU Denver’s Learning & Development team is offering another session of their “Difficult Conversations” program for CU Denver staff and faculty on Wednesday, August 2nd from 11:00 am – 12:10 pm on Zoom.
The training session, offered virtually, will allow participants to gain a foundation and understanding of the importance of having difficult conversations. This course is designed to equip the learner with skills and knowledge on preparing for and having difficult conversations. All are welcome to register and attend. Recent compliments for this program include:

Another way to register:
- Log on to the Employee Portal
- If you are not taken there by default, navigate to “CU Resources” screen
- Under the “CU Resources Home” menu, go to the SkillSoft tile
- In the Skillsoft dashboard, search schedule for keywords “difficult conversations”
- Select the ILT (instructor led training) tab and select “UCD: Difficult Conversations“
- Click on the Actions/Enroll options to sign up
