EDI Working Groups: Continuing Conversations
Here’s how to participate:
Affinity Groups
A Black affinity group was started on December 2.
This group is open to all SEHD faculty and staff who
identify as Black. If you are interested in connecting
with that group, let us know, and we’ll get you
connected to the meetings on 2/20 and 4/26
following SEHD faculty meetings. If you are interested
in forming another affinity group, let us know that as
well and we’ll help make it happen.
Inclusive Pedagogy/Inclusive Curriculum –
This group will meet on January 20, from 12-2pm.
If you are interested in joining that group, let us know
and we’ll get you connected. This group will be developing
resources to support our SEHD pedagogies, focused on
equity. If you’d like more information about this group, let
us know.
Discursive Topics
This group will meet monthly, on the 3rd Friday of
each month, starting on January 20. Participating in
the group requires some commitment for
participation (this will not be a drop-in group). If
you’re interested in joining, let us know that as well.
This will be a great community to join if you’d like to
engage in discussions about issues you face in
growing in your professional practice.
