The Induction of the Alpha Eta Chapter of Delta Kappa Honor Society
Students and faculty in the Couple and Family Therapy program had their charter and induction ceremony for the Alpha Eta chapter of Delta Kappa International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society. Special guests for the ceremony were Dean Marvin Lynn and Dr. Rashmi Gangamma. Delta Kappa is an international honor society for students, faculty, and alumni of couple and marriage and family therapy programs. In order to be a member of Delta Kappa you must have a 3.75 GPA with a minimum of 12 credit hours from an accredited program. The students who chartered the chapter here at UC Denver worked for over a year to bring this organization to campus and they have all shown great leadership qualities and have been successful academically. They hope to do service projects for the community of Denver and their fellow students in the SEHD while also getting the word out about couple and family therapy. We as CFT faculty are so excited to see how they continue to grow and foster community!
