Please review the message below about street closure schedule that may impact your travel to campus in the weeks and months ahead:
The City of Denver will be closing Larimer Street from 14th to Speer Boulevard starting Monday, Dec. 12, for a construction project which will enhance the safety, beauty, and mobility of Larimer Street….
Pedestrians can cross Speer Boulevard at Lawrence Street instead of Larimer. One lane of northbound Speer Boulevard (downtown side) will be closed, but access to the parking lot on the corner of Larimer and 14th will remain open.
The Cherry Creek Trail also will be closed around the project site and detours will be posted. During peak travel hours, all lanes on Speer Boulevard in the project zone will be open to motorists. During non-peak hours, motorists can expect one-lane closures. In general, all motorists at all hours are advised to allow for extra travel time while this project is underway.
The project is expected to be completed in Fall 2023.
