The end of the year is a great time to verify that your personal information in the UCD Access/Passport portal (my.cu.edu) is up to date before W-2s are sent in January.
- Please check your home and mailing addresses and phone numbers, and update if needed.
- Please be sure to add a personal email address if you don’t already have one on file.
- This is a great time to check that you have the most current emergency contact information on record too.
Follow the steps below to verify or update this information:
- Log into the portal.
- Click the CU Resources tab.
- Open the top center CU Resources Home drop-down menu, then select My Info and Pay.
- Choose the My Info tile.
- Click on the arrows in the Home Address and Mailing Address boxes to verify or update your information.
Step by step instructions can also be found here.
*Note for student employees: Updating this information in your student portal does not update it in your employee portal. You must update this information in both portals.
Other Year-End Reminders:
- Verify your Social Security number.
- Review your paycheck for accuracy (it’s best to check this every pay day).
- Double check your tax withholdings with the IRS Withholding Estimator. (Reminder for international employees: You should not make changes to your W-4 without first consulting an international tax specialist.)
- If you would like to designate a different withholding rate for Colorado state income taxes, you can submit a DR 0004 withholding form. (If you do not submit this form, the information in your federal W-4 will be used to set your Colorado state withholding rate).
