On March 25, Dr. Margarita Bianco, associate professor of Special Education in the CU Denver’s School of Education & Human Development, addressed National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators’ 19th National Summit attendees in Washington, D.C. Through the Pathways2Teaching program she founded and directs, Bianco paves the way for students of color to seriously consider teaching as a profession. Bianco discussed the current state of Latinx students in higher education.
