Kalir, Marginal Syllabus win National Technology Leadership Initiative Award

The Marginal Syllabus and its research team, directed by Remi Kalir, have been awarded the 2020 ELATE National Technology Leadership Initiative Award. Conferred by the English Language Arts Teacher Educators (ELATE) group of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), the award recognizes an exemplary K-20 literacy education project that promotes dialogue about the innovative use of learning technology in literacy teacher education. Kalir’s award-winning presentation will be delivered during the Society of Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) conference, to be held between March 29 and April 2, 2021.
