Investigating the CDE ELD Implementation Rubric and Needs Assessment of ELL Professional Development Standards for Principals and Teachers in the Weld RE8 School District
This quality improvement study sought to identify the perceived implementation status on the Colorado Department of Education’s ELD program rubric. Additionally, identifying how the Weld Re8 school districts current practices are meeting the requirements for the Colorado Department of Education’s ELL standards for serving students who are culturally and linguistically diverse, as well as what professional development needs were identified by both principals and the ELD teachers of the district.
