Supporting Children’s Social and Emotional Needs and Reducing Expulsions in Early Childhood Settings Webinar

Phil Strain presented a webinar on November 19th for the National Council of State Legislatures entitled: Supporting Children’s Social and Emotional Needs and Reducing Expulsions in Early Childhood Settings. Over 100 policy fellows and other state leaders across the US participated. Dr. Strain was also the keynote speaker at the Colorado Society of School Psychologists annual meeting on November 4th where he presented two plenary sessions: Myths, Lies and Lessons Learned About Early Autism Intervention and, Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children. Also, Dr. Strain and UCD Doctoral student, Jaclyn Joseph, conducted a day long training on the Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children model sponsored by Old Dominion University on November 10th. Finally, Dr. Strain and Mrs. Joseph conducted a webinar for the Division for Early Childhood (Council for Exceptional Children) on Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children on November 11th.
