FYI: Comment Period for Proposed Federal Regulations for Teacher Preparation

We are writing to encourage you to formally comment, and to encourage your teacher preparation faculty to comment, on the proposed federal regulations for teacher preparation.  You may comment as a private citizen, or on behalf of your institution if you have proper permission to do so.  If you would like a copy of the comments that we submitted, please let us know.

Ø  DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS:  February 2, 2015

Ø  At the present time, only 1,946 comments have been received by the DOE on these regulations (AACTE’s goal was 10,000 comments).

Once you have submitted your comments, we believe it will be very helpful for you to also send a copy to your senators and representatives.
