In this session, we will dive into the academic honesty strategies that promote academic integrity as well as review strategies for reducing plagiarism and cheating in online courses. A brief list of the topics to be covered include: – honor codes – academic honesty student/faculty training – assessment design – plagiarism detection – online test proctoring – exit interviews, summative assessments

Designing a Mobile Ready Course with Universal Design

With a rising number of students accessing and completing coursework through mobile applications on devices such as smartphones and tablets, it is important that accessing your course through a mobile application is as engaging and effective as accessing your course from a computer. Come learn and implement design tips for creating mobile friendly content (many of which can be applied to course design in general).
