Dear SEHD Community,
I would like to invite you to join Accessibility Adventure: A Playful Introduction to Digital Accessibility for Educators, a free professional learning experience offered in person or virtually, designed to make accessibility approachable, practical, and engaging.
Through interactive activities, collaborative challenges, and hands-on exploration, participants will discover simple strategies for creating more inclusive digital learning materials while experiencing accessibility from different learner perspectives.
To support greater access and participation, this year’s workshop is offered in two formats: a morning in-person session and an afternoon virtual session. Both options provide the same learning outcomes and resources. Offering multiple modalities is an intentional inclusion strategy that allows participants to choose the format that best fits their schedules, learning preferences, locations, transportation needs, caregiving responsibilities, and other personal circumstances.
Whether you are new to accessibility or looking to strengthen your current practices, I hope you will join us for this playful learning experience as we explore ways to create more inclusive educational environments for everyone.
