Dr. Erica Holyoke has been awarded a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship in Spain for SY 26-27. Beginning this fall, she will be based at the University of Cantabria in Santander, Spain, partnering with the Calíope Research Group to study how Spanish picturebooks foster community connection and multilingual learning in early childhood and teacher education. Spain’s national commitments to plurilingual education and global citizenship make it a meaningful context for this work, which will inform both Spanish and U.S. classrooms.
