EdPrepLab works with member institutions at the intersection of research, practice, and policy to advance educator preparation grounded in the science of learning and development. As part of EdPrepLab’s attendance at AERA, you are invited to join us for a day of engagement with representatives from the Education Commission of the States and the National Conference of State Legislatures, national member organizations that work directly with state policymakers.

Participants will engage in substantive discussions about pressing issues that are most salient to state policymakers and explore how preparation programs and stakeholders can help inform state policy efforts in their states. In addition, representatives from the Colorado Department of Education will share trends in the state’s education policy, including recent collaboration between policymakers and educator preparation programs.
