- Committee checked in with each other.
- Committee brainstormed various goals for the year.
- Interpreting feedback from students, especially Doc Students of Color
- Book/article studies
- Committee talked with Antwan to identify ways we can collaborate.
- One priority is to address where our commitments to equity and social justice don’t align with our actions.
- Support faculty with inclusive pedagogy, high expectations, meaningful work.

- Black @ SEHD Group: community, advocacy, multiple opportunities for support, and collaboration with other affinity groups.
- Inclusive Pedagogy Group: teaching, learning, and curricular design that are informed by anti-racism, belongingness, critical pedagogy, pedagogy of love, and healing.
- Discursive Practices Group: community of practice in which professionals talking to each other about their work, successes and otherwise.
- Community Development Group: liberation, justice, humanizing pedagogies. Will address peacebuilding and community development and how to have difficult conversations in large groups.

Possible Action Items
- Provide support around the DSOC data: Help create a plan forward, given students’ experiences and feedback.
- Further understand systemic issues that students face (e.g., understaffed counseling center, financial aid)
- Begin to socialize the SEHD faculty to being observed by doc students with feedback. Members of DEI committee will go first.
- Explore ways to support Counseling Center.
- Explore ways to support First Friday working groups.
