The second workshop in the Faculty Grants Academy series will be held on Friday, October 27, from 12-2pm in Student Commons room 1401. This workshop, entitled “Finding Funding & How to Read a Request for Proposals” will provide faculty with an in-depth understanding of the grantmaking process; how to assess alignment between one’s research agenda and sponsor priorities; internal seed grant opportunities available to faculty; how to find and secure external funding; and how to read a Request for Proposals (RFP) including an expert panel of research administrators discussing an RFP.
Faculty may register for this upcoming workshop via the Office of Research Services (ORS) website, available here. By registering, faculty will receive a calendar invite, which will be updated with relevant supplementary materials that can be accessed before the workshop.
