Please welcome Alfredo Gallegos to SEHD as the NxtGEN CO Recruitment and Admissions Specialist. Alfredo will lead the recruitment efforts for our TPREP partnerships by working closely with our two-year rural institutions. Originally from Nayarit, México, Alfredo pursued his passion for higher education and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Denver and a Masters from the University of Denver. In line with his passion for supporting historically underrepresented students, Alfredo has worked in different sectors, including non-profit, TRIO, and community programs. Some of his accomplishments include developing a first-generation access program called 1GenU, creating a curriculum for KIPP High Schools, and designing/teaching the course “Unlearning to Learn” at the University of Denver.
