About our Speaker
Dr. Renee McLaughlin is the National Medical Director, Value-Based Relationships with Cigna. She leads a team focused on the design, implementation, and management of collaborative partnerships with healthcare providers to improve health outcomes.
Dr. McLaughlin has extensive experience in this field and speaks regularly in both regional and national forums on value-based healthcare delivery. She herself underwent a gender transition in 2013 while maintaining her external-facing corporate position.
Dr. McLaughlin has a strong interest in LGBT health and workforce issues, specifically those affecting gender-diverse people. She has served on the leadership team for Cigna’s LGBT Colleague Resource Group and is an internal and external resource on transgender-related issues.
