Congratulations to JáNet Hurt! Her steadfast representation on CU Denver’s Staff Council has evolved into an even larger leadership and advocacy role. She was elected to serve as co-chair of University of Colorado Staff Council (UCSC), a systemwide governance group representing staff (classified, exempt, and professional research assistants), for fiscal years 2023 and 2024. UCSC advises and recommends action to CU Denver and CU Anschutz Medical Campus Chancellors, the CU Board of Regents, the President’s Office, Administrative Officers, and the State Personnel Board concerning policies and procedures which affect CU staff. In the new role, JaNet will attend all CU Board of Regents open meetings.
