Faculty are invited to a Panel on Open Educational Resources. This is a paid opportunity to learn more about how faculty are incorporating OER on campus. Auraria Library is happy to invite you to learn more about Open Educational Resources (OER) and how they’re currently used in courses across CU Denver on Wednesday, May 19, from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Attendees will receive $250 in professional development funds from Auraria Library’s Open Education Grant.
The session will include a brief overview of OER and how Auraria Library can support faculty efforts to adopt, adapt, and create OER. Five CU Denver faculty members will also share their experiences using OER in a variety of ways, including:

* Stephen Hartke, Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, CLAS
* Amy Hasinoff, Communication, CLAS
* Remi Kalir, Learning Design & Technology, SEHD
* John Tinnell, English, CLAS
Attendees will have time to ask questions of the panelists and the library, plus leave with resources to help further explore using OER in their own courses.
