It has come to the attention of the SEHD Tech Team that projectors are being left turned on in empty classrooms, sometimes overnight. Did you know that projector bulbs are considered a consumable item with a finite number of hours? The number of hours is fairly large, sometimes as much as 3,000. However, that number gets quickly eaten up if the bulb is burning uselessly overnight for 12 hours. And those bulbs are expensive. We recently replaced one for around $500. All the projectors in classrooms (except 700, which uses a remote) have wall-mounted controls with an off button (see below). So when you are done with the projectors in the classrooms, please turn them off.
