We are hosting the second Annual CU Denver DREAMers Benefit on October 12, 2017 at the Cleo Parker Robinson Theater, 119 Park Avenue West, Denver, CO 80205. This event will provide food, assorted beverages, and a variety of speakers and entertainers. During the benefit, we will have a silent auction for guests to bid on throughout the evening. The funds raised at the benefit will go towards scholarships for our DREAMer students. We are a group working towards creating awareness about the lack of support that our DREAMer students receive nationally. A DREAMer student is an undocumented student who pursues higher education. DREAM stands for Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors. Because these students are undocumented, they are ineligible to receive federal or state financial aid, making it even more difficult to afford college.
