Dean’s Team Updates: A Consulting Other Programs About Curriculum Changes policy/procedure draft document was created. The committee will make recommendations and discuss them at the next meeting.
Instructor Approvals (responsible for submitting materials):
SEHD staff may submit the paperwork for approval of instructors by the SEHD Curriculum Committee, but the Committee needs notification in writing (formal letter, email, etc.) that relevant SEHD faculty have reviewed the instructor’s submission materials and approve of the instructor submission.

- HDFR Sprint: students can transfer up to 90 credit hours from another accredited school/university.
- Students will be expected to complete their final 30 credits in one of the HDFR concentrations (Certified Family Life Education, Families and Social Justice, Serving and Leading Families in Communities, or Applied Human Development).
Approved Higher Ed Concentration Change Nina Buchanan
- The Higher Education EdD concentration will now allow students to select 9-credits of electives.
- EDFN 7420 Foundations of Education will become a required course.
Approved SPED 5918 ABA Practicum Gretchen Johnson
- Updating credits hours from 1-3 variable to fixed 1-credit hour.
