Canvas – Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with Duo

Starting May 14 – May 27th, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with Duo will be enabled for all users accessing Canvas in a phased rollout. This initiative strengthens security by adding an additional verification step at login, aligning Canvas with other university systems already using MFA.
  • No setup required; MFA will be automatically enabled.
  • Users will log in as usual and complete a Duo Push verification prompt.
  • Communication and details with all constituents is forthcoming.
