The Evaluation Center: Palliative Care Research Consortium at Anschutz

Congratulations to Dr. Goldie Komaie of The Evaluation Center! Across the next five years, Dr. Komaie will lead the evaluation for the Advancing the Science of Palliative Care Research across the Lifespan (ASCENT) Consortium funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This new consortium will provide resources, expertise, coordination, and national leadership to advance innovative, high-quality, equitable research on palliative care across the lifespan. The Consortium aims to transform the field of palliative care research and generate new knowledge and methods that can be implemented to improve the lives of people living with serious illness and their caregivers.
Dr. Komaie and The Evaluation Center team will support the ASCENT Consortium in measuring awarded research grants, their role in fostering the growth and development of early and mid-career investigators, and their role in promoting a national community of palliative care researchers. For more information on the ASCENT Consortium, check out this article in the CU Anschutz School of Medicine newsletter.
