Distribution Services provides campus-wide mail services to the staff and faculty of the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, University of Colorado Denver, Auraria Campus, and recognized student organizations. As a hub for all incoming, outgoing, and intercampus mail and packages, Distribution Services is dedicated to processing and delivering mail in a timely and efficient manner.
Central Receiving accepts all goods that cannot be delivered to your mailbox. These include, but are not limited to, large envelopes, books, boxes, furniture, and computers. Please refer to our Mail and Package Delivery Schedule to determine when your package will arrive. If you have not received a package within the expected timeframe, please call Central Receiving at 303-556-8401. If you need your item before the delivery schedule and would prefer to pick it up, call Central Receiving to make arrangements.

Off-Campus Mailing Services Distribution Services will accept all mail and packages for the United States Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS and meter them on your behalf. Charges for mailings will be billed back to your department based on your mail code number. Any outgoing mail that requires postage must have a mail charge slip; otherwise, the delivery will be returned to the department. Mail and Packages – USPS or FedEx (Certified, Insured, Pre-sort)
- Please use a Postage Metered Mail Charge Slip and attach it to your item or package for all mail.
- Please note we do not process packages through UPS or DHL (we do accept pre labeled packages)
- Call Distribution Services to arrange for a large-item or a special mailing pick-up (303-556-3266).
