From August 11-September 27, 2025, campus will be filled with events from Move-in Day, New Student Orientation, to Family Day! CU Denver Welcome, kicks off the week before classes, on August 11 and runs through the first 6 weeks of classes. Every year, the CU Denver Welcome Committee (this year led by Kelsi Dew and Emilie Waggoner) coordinates a variety of events, programs, and workshops for new First-Year and Transfer students. Many of these programs need campus support, like you, to help us provide a wonderful experience for students and families. Below is a link to volunteer opportunities, like Move-in Day, the Family Hub, and the First Gen Banquet to name a few. If you have some time, we’d love for you to participate.
