Scott McLeod visited the American International School of Guangzhou, China last week as part of its Speaker Series. Scott spent two days visiting classrooms, working with AISG educators, and talking with caregivers. Topics included instructional redesign for deeper learning, instructional coaching, digital citizenship and parenting, and preparing young people for life success in a rapidly-changing era. On January 11, Scott also was the opening keynote for EdTechGZ, a regional educational technology conference attended by over 650 educators across China, and facilitated several sessions on leadership, technology, and deeper learning.
