Congratulations to Julia Cummings, marketing and communications director for SEHD, who has been selected to represent the University of Colorado Denver as a participant in the 2024-25 Academic Management Institute (AMI). Sponsored by the Colorado Network of Women Leaders, a regional affiliate of the American Council on Education, the AMI is beginning its 39th year of bringing together women professionals in higher education from across Colorado and Wyoming to train future leaders and foster excellence in the region’s colleges and universities. Over 1,200 women from more than 30 institutions have participated during the program’s history. Julia was nominated by Dean Marvin Lynn. She was chosen by the selection committee because of her strong potential to assume leadership positions at the University of Colorado Denver or in higher education in general, as well as her past accomplishments.
