The SEHD Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion invites all SEHD staff and faculty to join this year’s first
EDI First Fridays Community Session
Date: Friday, September 6, 2024
Time: 10am-noon
Location: 7th Floor Academic Services area
To start this year’s EDI First Fridays, the following
-Discursive Practices – addressing emergent problems of practice in our professional work
-B@SEHD – an affinity group for Black-identifying staff and faculty
-Community Building and Peacemaking – developing practices and tools to that support belonging and conflict mediation
-Inclusive Pedagogy – cultivating tools that support effective SEHD faculty practice
-“Data Equity” – a new group, focusing upon developing an equity-orientation to our uses of data in SEHD; this group also will identify research opportunities for faculty, staff, and students
O-EDI will provide drinks, utensils, and some light food/refreshments.
