From the 1619 Project:
At this year’s conference we launched our latest initiative: the 1619 Education Impact Grant.
If you are an education professional working with students and/or educators in K-12 learning environments, we invite you to apply for these grants to support educational projects inspired by and utilizing at least one resource from The 1619 Project.
On Saturday, April 6, at 2:00pm EDT, we’ll be hosting a free, virtual planning workshop for interested applicants to learn more about this opportunity and its criteria, get their questions answered, and workshop their project ideas with Pulitzer Center staff and workshop attendees.
We hope to see you there and receive your application! Don’t wait, all applications for grants are due Monday, April 15, 2024, by 11:59pm EDT.
