Integration and Equity in Denver Public Schools 50 Years After Keyes

The Park Hill Neighbors for Equity in Education is hosting a Keyes anniversary event this Saturday, February 10 from 9-1 at Manual High School.  We have over 120 folks registered including Superintendent Marrero and several board members. We are excited for this opportunity to educate and activate the community around this topic.

In addition to Pat Pascoe, Buddy Noel, and Kathy Escamilla who will share the history of the case, Kimberly Strong will provide a brief overview of the resegregation report. We will also have a panel of high school students discussing equity in the schools today. The event will be followed by lunch provided by a number of local restaurants.
