Lucinda Soltero-González, associate professor in the Responsive Literacy Education program, presented the keynote address at Denver Public School’s annual MLE Biliteracy Conference on August 7, 2023, at Regis University. Her presentation was titled “Beyond Science-Based Reading Instruction for MLLs: Towards an Equity-Minded Pedagogy.” Participants included teachers, school leaders, and Colorado State Board of Education members interested in educating multilingual learners.
