This fall Amy Ferrell will be working with the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Council for Penn State’s Outreach and Online Education. Karen Armstrong, an SEHD EdD student in the higher education concentration, serves as the Director of Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity for Penn State’s Outreach and Online Education, and she invited Amy to speak with her colleagues about humanizing each other within topics of power and privilege. Amy will speak with the DEIB Council on August 10 about the relationship between empathy and truth and will facilitate future conversations throughout the semester.
