In its release of the 2023 Best Colleges rankings, U.S. News & World Report once again recognized CU Denver among the nation’s best schools and No. 1 for social mobility in the state of Colorado for the second year in a row.

Social mobility has taken center stage in the 2030 Strategic Plan and is a key consideration when developing curriculum at CU Denver, where preparing a diverse workforce for the future is priority. CU Denver is committed to becoming the nation’s first equity-serving institution, joining new initiatives and supporting underrepresented communities in an effort to make education work for all.

“For the second year in a row, CU Denver has been recognized as the number one institution in Colorado for social mobility,” said Chancellor Michelle Marks. “This is an incredible achievement, one that speaks to our commitment to serving all learners from all backgrounds at all stages of their lives and careers.
